About World Market Clock
World Market Clock is a free tool that shows the opening hours, live status and countdowns of 24 major stock exchanges around the world — automatically converted to your local time zone.
What the site does
For every exchange we track — from New York and London to Tokyo, Mumbai and Sydney — the live clock shows whether the market is open, closed, in pre-market or on a lunch break, plus a countdown to the next opening or closing.
Alongside the clock we publish short, practical guides on market holidays, early closes and time-zone changes, so you can plan around the days when the usual schedule does not apply.
How times are calculated
Each exchange is calculated in its own official time zone using the IANA time-zone database built into your browser, so daylight saving changes are handled automatically. Official holiday and early-close calendars are applied for NYSE, Nasdaq, the London Stock Exchange, the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
Who it is for
Traders, investors, students and anyone who needs to know when global markets are active — especially people who follow markets in a different time zone from where they live.
What we don’t do
World Market Clock does not offer brokerage, trading, investment advice or live price data. It is an informational reference only.
